Guitar Institute for Music Therapists

General Information

The GIMT is the first institute specifically designed to meet the "guitar needs" of music therapists and music therapy students of all levels. Our staff includes music therapists and prominent guitar instructors. They bring a wide range of musical backgrounds including blues, rock, popular, jazz, and classical music. If you are seeking to expand your theoretical knowledge of the guitar while bringing your playing to a higher level, and increase your musical resources to better serve your clients, this institute is for you.

The GIMT provides:

• CBMT credits for all courses
• Fundamental courses for beginners
• Courses for the intermediate players
• Master classes for the experienced players
• Private lessons
• Group and 1:1 supervision
