-Music and Early Child Development: Musicing for Infants & Tots-

  • In January 2007 The Rebecca Center will be launching its long awaited program, Musicing for Infants & Tots. This program is an early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and their caregivers. This interactive music making program is comprised of a developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates child-adult musical experiences. Musicing for Infants & Tots is based on the belief that all children are musical and can participate in singing, playing various instruments and enjoy the experience of making music with others.

The main differences between Musicing for Infants & Tots and other “similar” programs are:

    • Our facilitators are EXPERTS in the use of music and child development, who are professionally credentialed and have extensive experience and training

    • Our program will consist of SMALL SIZE GROUPS (5-6 children & caregiver) that will enable the instructor to attend to each child (We are focused on QUALITY not QUANTITY!)

For more information and early enrollment, please contact The Rebecca Center at 516-678-6643 ext. 6643
