Music tailored to the abilities and needs of each individual

  • Music Therapy

Music experiences are  provided that create opportunities for engagement, interaction and communication  while taking into consideration the client’s musical, biological and  and individual-differences in order to maximize back-and-forth reciprocal musical interactions.

  • Performance

Participants have the opportunity to play in a band, learn songs, create together and perform for live audiences in a supportive and empowering environment, providing meaningful social opportunities for companionship and self-expression of self-agency.

  • Community Outreach

Through our community outreach programs, schools districts and community-based organizations such as the Sid  Jacobsen Jewish Community , United Cerebral Palsy and others engage in onsite and offsite group music therapy . These programs serve participants from early childhood through adulthood offering inclusive music therapy programming.

  • Training

At The Rebecca Center for Music Therapy, we provide clinical training for undergraduate and graduate music therapy students through practicum and internship experiences. We also offer in-service and staff development training for community-based organizations and provide scholarly opportunities for music therapists worldwide
